Lessons available during the SUMMER only at our Home Pool location in Mingo.
Designed for the safety and survival of your baby should a water safety issue arise, Little Dreamers classes have been developed with a deep love of life, and a healthy respect for water. One parent must accompany a child into the water to assist the instructor. Some parents may find it uncomfortable to hear their children fuss a little bit, but we assure you THIS IS NORMAL. It is, however, much less uncomfortable than dealing with an actual drowning incident...which is the #1 cause of accidental death in the US.
We are certified, trained, and more importantly experienced. Your child is safe. Because of the nature of these classes, parents who don't follow the instructions will be dismissed without permission to re-enter the program.
Classes are held at our Home Pool location in Mingo where the water is 88 degrees or above for comfort.
Due to the small size and private residence:
-Observation for these classes is not permitted. Only one parent may bring the student and enter the water.
-Restrooms are not available but changing areas are provided for infants. Restrooms can be used at Aracoma Park located nearby.
We get it. You want your child to be safe in the water & learn all the good stuff, but you don't have the stomach for the survival-style lessons, OR you would like more instruction time than a group class offers. We've got you covered.
Private lessons will cover the same material as the group classes, but you will not be required to enter the pool. Ms. Lacey will do 25 minutes of instruction, once a week, with your infant. Private infant lessons will promote accelerated learning and individualized motor movements with the area's ONLY certified and nationally recognized infant & toddler instructor.
One parent is welcome to enter the pool during the lesson & participate.
Lessons are $35.00/lesson + facilities fees for 25 minutes of instruction.
A parent must be present at all times but is not required to enter the water.

The Babies class is designed to promote good water safety in infants. This class acclimates students to the water at an early age. The earlier the starting age, the easier it is for the child! The class utilizes infants’ natural reflexes to aid them in learning to hold their breath, cling to the side, and swim short distances. Children in this class learn to float on their backs, roll over, and perform other safety maneuvers.
Babies classes are for children 2 months to 8 months. This is not a private/one-on-one lesson. An adult must accompany the child in the water.
This class is designed for those students who are developmentally more advanced than the Babies class. This class also focuses more on movement in the water and builds on the developmental skills that the child is learning on land. More focus is directed at balance and buoyancy in the water. This class also requires an adult to enter the water and the curriculum is similar to the Babies class with the focus on the swim -float-swim and survival methods.
Movers classes are for children 9 months to 14 months. This is not a private/one-on-one lesson. An adult must accompany the child in the water.
